After having so much fun working on the Walking Dead official set for Cryptozoic, I drew up a few PSCs that have been sitting on my art table for a couple of months waiting to be sold to someone. I am now going to start posting one of these Walking Dead PSCs on eBay every 4 days until the Season Finale. First I have drawn the "Bicycle Walker" from the pilot episode, and is currently up on eBay. take a look.

Well, I got a nice surprise this morning; I was featured on the Geologic podcast as I sent Geo a portrait sketchcard and he very unexpectedly thanked me for the art on his show! (The thanks was not unexpected but the On-Air mention was!) The Geologic Podcast is one of my favorite podcasts, and Geo is one of the most influntial people in my life as a listener. If you havent ever heard the show, and you consider yourself to be a skeptic, freethinker, critical thinker, science-savy, music lover, humor lover, and just about anything else that is generally interesting and thought provoking you should give it a listen. Anyway, thanks for the shoutout Geo! I was so excited to hear myself and my art mentioned on one of my favorite shows, especially when I really didnt expect it. As Geo mentioned I DO take commissions for Sketchcards, which can be anything from pop culture ( I am known for my Star Wars art, but will do almost any subject as requested by a commissioner; Marvel characters, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Walking Dead, etc.) and Alos portraits and other types of art on the cards as well.

Each card is 2.5 X 3.5 inches, and the cardstock is custom printed and each is hand-drawn and signed.

I am now making available for the first time many of my original Works of art, both Star Wars and Non, on eBay. Go to eBay and search for KEZELE and my auctions will appear. Some of what you will see are others selling Star Wars cards of mine that they pulled, but all of my sales are posted by me, and my eBay username is JEDIKEZELE.

Some of you have already noticed that I have started accepting donations so that I might keep my DeviantArt premium membership for months and years to come. I appreciate these donations now more than ever as I leave the world of regular employment and go full time artist. Any points that you feel like you could donate over would GREATLY help my efforts to continue doing what I love, and to continue giving all of you new artwork to view and to buy. I have already had some donations come in and for that I am very grateful!

Well, it finally happened. I had been expecting that it would come to pass sooner or later but it finally happened. I lost my job today. I had worked there for almost 3 years, and always did my job well. I guess I am going to have a lot more free time now to do some art, so if you like my artwork, and you want to help support me while I look for new employment, I will happily do commissions.

Well I have started to work on these, and I am finding that some materials work better than others on these cards. Markers are a no no. Prismacolor pencils work well, so I have decided to go with those.

     So far I have done maybe 20 cards. I am satisfied with the way they have been turning out, and i have gotten approval to post a few of them as well. More to come soon. Enjoy!

I have decided to put one of my original Star Wars pieces up for sale finally. I usually don't sell my original pieces, I do commissions but the art I make for myself ususally stays on my wall or in my portfolio. However, I thought since many people are fans of this piece in particular it might have a better home on someone elses wall, amongst their Star Wars collectibles and whatnot.

What is this I hear about giving away sketchcards? Well I'll tell you....

   I have recently finished my set for Topps' Star Wars Clone Wars season 2 cards that come out in I believe October, and I am currently working on the Bettie Page collectors set for Versicolor, due out next year.

   Between now and the next Topps set, or whatever may come up next, I have decided to take on commissions for both cards and larger pieces. I have also decided to have a contest in which the winner will get a personal sketch card by me!

   Here are the rules:



   Go through my gallery and choose your favorite Star Wars piece that you can see. If you haven't already, fav it, and write a comment about why you like it (sketchcard pieces included). Then, go to my front page and tell me that you have done so and your name will go into a drawing. On October 1st, I will draw out 3 names and to those people will go one personal sketch card each.
