First thing that drew me in was the contrast, when something is done in black or white or duotone it sometimes really doesnt have much contrast and it's not always a bad thing, but its refreshing to see something bright so say haha<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> The shiny part of it really looks like there is a light there!!!
I love the drawing technique, very clean and strong and passes on the creepyness and coldness of deep ocean where this is probably happening.
And I would totally be that tiny fish there, staring at the fluorescent dot <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
Another thing I like is the layout which is not totally centered, it gives your drawing a more natural feel.

I think this is the first critique I ever wrote haha,
but I felt like writing a long comment for your drawing <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
Awesome!
